The fourth collaborative EP between Joe Mousepad & NorthernDraw, The Double Dragon EP, represents a blend of influences and genres linking together two prominent cities of the west coast: Oakland & Portland. Sounds blossoming from roots of hip-hop slaps and lo-fi sp404 loops as a foundation, has now grown into a more global influence, merging genres that include house, drum & bass, footwork, and 2-step. The duo's most versatile palate of tracks yet that easily moves any dance floor while simultaneously holding space half time in any atmosphere.

Oakland's veteran musician Joe Mousepad, frequently rotates through different sides and styles of the Bay. Either producing beats and rhyming in the world of hip hop, or MCing and DJing at the long running San Francisco Drum & Bass weekly event Stamina. His production is widely influenced by uptempo dance cuts, heavily heard through thick sound systems while simultaneously representing a chill half-time attitude.

Portland's own NorthernDraw, the lead behind the label and decade old monthly event Thirsty City, is often showcasing the funkier side of beats and grooves. His influences oscillate between chill electronic lofi sounds and a soundscape of warm abstract percussive glitches.
